IBM TopView 1.10
Released by IBM in 1984, TopView was a text-mode windowed multitasker for the IBM PC, XT, and AT computer. It featured preemptive multitasking, text-based windowed task sessions, overlapping windows, and supports the use of a mouse. In part, it was one of the reasons why overlapping windows were added to Microsoft Windows 2.0. TopView was later overtaken by DesqView, OS/2, and Windows. Topview 1.10 adds support for IBM PC LAN Program 1.10, IBM PC 3270 Emulation Program 2.0, better support for running DOS commands inside TopView, and adds help. This version does not support the PS/2 mouse. That support is added in 1.12. TopView can not use DOS mouse drivers.

IBM Typing Tutor 1.00 (Diskette Version)
IBM Typing Tutor is an educational program sold by IBM alongside their original IBM PC. The software itself was licensed from Microsoft, and is notable as being one of only two known commercial programs that were sold for the IBM PC on cassette tape. (The other being IBM PC Diagnostics) This is the floppy disk version. It requires IBM Disk Basic or compatible. The version of IBM Disk Basic included on this copy is only for use with genuine IBM PC computers, not clones. Archive includes one 5.25" 160KB floppy disk image. Note: some file names on this disk contains spaces, and null file dates.

IBM Word Proof 1.00
IBM Word Proof is a stand-alone spell checker for the IBM PC with a list of over 125,000 standard English words. It can also find synonyms and anagrams, and features a built-in full screen editor. You may add your own specialized words to its list. Word Proof 1.00 is designed for use with word processors such as EasyWriter, PeachText, IBM Personal Editor, and IBM Professional Editor. Compared to other spell checkers of the time, Word Proof was considered fast and very easy to use. It was supposedly based on the spell checker for IBM's DisplayWriter product. Minimum Requirements: 96K RAM One single sided (160K) floppy drive DOS 1.00 or higher. This archive contains two 160K disk images in raw and ImageDisk format. Note: These disks are formatted for DOS 1.x and Winimage will not open them. Note: DOSBox and QEMU seem to have problems running Word Proof.
