Version 3.0 of Calera's popular OCR software offers improved integration with office application suites; recognizes small, 4-point text; and supports Hewlett-Packard's AccuPage 2.0 technology. WordScan Plus 3.0 can emulate the interface of word processors from the three major office suites--Microsoft Office, Borland Office, and Lotus SmartSuite--once you tell it which package you are using. You can select an area on a document in WordScan Plus and move it to your word processor, and character recognition will occur automatically.
