Should probably work on genuine vintage Windows 9x systems. Kindly note: Sfx works but background CD audio does not play. OST tracks included in "Music" folder in *.wma format (automatic music playback may possibly automatically work on genuine vintage Win98 systems). Also included is fullscreenizer.exe in "fullscreenizer for Earthworm Jim" folder which makes it possible to play the game borderless when in full screen (kindly read the accompanying *.txt file).

Fatal Racing
Fatal Racing,also known as Whiplash in the USA, is a 3D stunt car racing game developed by Gremlin Interactive and published in 1995 for the MS-DOS OS but also runs in Windows 9x. Fatal Racing can be considered to be a hybrid of Stunts and Destruction Derby. The player picks among a broad selection of cars and drives through tracks with loops, corkscrews and insane jumps while trying to smash into other cars to destroy them and at the same time cross the finish line first. There is a variety of different camera views available in the game, "in-car", chase-cam, etc. Multiplayer is supported by IPX/SPX network and modem, in addition a split screen option is also available. Fatal Racing supports graphics resolutions of 320?200 and 640?480, the latter being very demanding on the hardware available at the time of the game's release. The names displayed for drivers of cars in the race not controlled by human players all come from famous robot or computer characters from science fiction movies and television (Kryten from Red Dwarf, Slave from Blake's 7, Robby from Forbidden Planet, etc.), though this can be changed within the game's options.

Grand Prix Legends (ISO 9660 image). Contains all original content for the North American release. This is quite possibly the best racing sim available for Windows, period (yes, including all of the modern racers). This sim is very extensible/"moddable," and there is a very large, active support community. This runs beautifully, unmodified on old Windows 9x boxes (assuming they have decent 3D accelerators for the time). To run this on modern systems, you will absolutely NEED to go here: https://gplps.wordpress.com/gplps-gpl-installer/ and grab the latest installer. This includes installers which allow for installing in later versions of Windows (I can confirm it works in Windows 10), and also has modified rasterizer files to allow the sim to be able to talk to modern graphics cards. You will need a GPL CD for this installer, and this ISO image works great. The modern rasterizers are fantastic, and support just about any display resolution. I use this with a Matrix TripeHead2Go at 3840x1024 (this is NOT 4K--this is three older 1280x1024 displays chained together). For laptops/systems with Intel graphics, use ONLY the modified DirectX v7 rasterizer, unless you really like a very slow menu interface.
