Quattro Pro 5 is a great spread sheet sofware package, far superior to Excel. Indeed, much of what good is in Excel appears to have been ripped off of Quattro Pro. I have been using this 1993 vintage software ever since I got it, transferring the files to Excel and then into other software applications such as Statistica and Word....the effort is nothing compared to the agonies of working with Excel.
